End "A-Dash" Contracts!

by John F. Bergin

I have informed my previous managers at Microsoft and area consulting agencies that I will no longer accept "A-Dash" contracts.  After 4 years

and 4 layoffs, I've had enough!

Microsoft generally treats their contract workers poorly, but the most egregious condition is the 100-Day Break.  Why do contract workers have

to suffer yearly layoffs?  It makes "Work-Life Balance" a complete joke!

I am out approximately $100,000.00 in lost wages and un-recoupable expenses over the last 4 years due to this policy.

I would ask everyone to do as I am, and refuse to accept any more Microsoft A-Dash contracts.  It's time Microsoft walk the walk, and extend

Work-Life Balance to all of it's workers!
