I am a Software Developer, Tester, and Quality Assurance Engineer with 25 years experience, and I am interested in full time and contract positions in the Software Engineering field.

I have just completed a contract with Microsoft working as a Software Design Engineer and Tester. Over the last 3 years I have been responsible for the quality of the Performance Tools in the Xbox and DirectX Software Development Kits (SDK’s). Over 11 product releases I have a 100% Quality Success Record!

My last days at Microsoft were spent putting the finishing touches on a comprehensive automation system that I had developed over the last 2 years. The automation consists of Command-line API testing, automated User Interface testing, Data Generation and Validation testing, and Performance Benchmark testing. Over 80% of the testing is now automated, with the rest covered by an end-to-end manual test that I developed, documented, and refined over 3 years. The manual test plan was used as a roadmap for developing the automation. The reliability of the automated tests themselves were verified via fault injection of the applications under test.
