The 3D Virtual Golf Course
Here's What you get...
1. The Custom 3D Virtual Scorecard.
This is our basic product which will get your golf course (or ski area) into cyberspace.
First we obtain Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data from the United States Geographic
Survey (USGS). The DEM data contains elevation points spaced every 10 meters. We
import the raw DEM data into our 3D environment featuring the Viking RaiderTM
graphics engine. We then overlay your scorecard onto the topographic model, producing
a 3D computerized version of your golf course or ski area.
2. Intelligent “Point-and-Click” Scorecard.
The full package allows you to click on different areas of the 3D Virtual Scorecard and
see pertinent information about that location, be it a hole on a golf course or a trail or
chairlift at a ski area. Install the Intelligent "Point-and-Click" Scorecard on a computer
in your lobby or pro-shop, or use the software to generate content for your web site.
3. 5 Custom Web Pages.
